We went out for dinner in Catania and I took a couple of pictures in a tavola calda while we were there.

Valle Galfina

We went to an agriturismo a few weeks ago and brought the dog. We had a wine tasting and a small tour of the winery. It had just opened and we were some of the first guests to stay in the B&B.

Lava Flow on Mt. Etna

I went up the mountain with some friends to see the lava. It was pretty amazing. The lava was spewing out of the top every couple of seconds. It was something like you would see on tv.

Mt. Etna

On Sunday, Mt. Etna decided to blow her top. Apparently lava has been flowing from her for the last couple of days, but luckily she isn't producing ash. From where we live, we can't see it, but friends of ours said you could see lava shooting out from the north side. Maybe we will be able to get some pictures.

Countdown

We are on the countdown and only have about 2-1/2 months go to before we are back in the good ole US of A. We'll be heading to Virginia. We picked it because of the states slogan, Virginia is for lovers. I really like Missouri's slogan; The Show Me State, but who wants to live there!
